Returns Policy

Return Policy

At ToolGuy.ie, your satisfaction is important to us. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Eligible Returns

  • Most new, unused, and unopened items must be reported to Toolguy within 3 days of receiving product and returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all manufacturer labels, accessories, manuals, and components included.

  • Goods must be in a re-saleable condition.


🚫 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Used, assembled, or damaged tools (unless faulty on arrival)

  • Items marked “Final Sale”, “Clearance”, or “Non-Returnable”

  • Gift vouchers or downloadable/digital products

  • Custom-made or special-order items

Please do not tape or attach labels directly to retail packaging.
For clothing or workwear, where applicable, original hygiene strips and tags must remain intact.

We reserve the right to refuse a return where goods are not returned in accordance with this policy. In such cases, we may request that you cover the cost of returning the item back to you.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.


🔄 Exchanges

We will replace items if they are:

  • Faulty or damaged on delivery

  • Incorrect items received

To request an exchange:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the product

  • Complete the Returns Form in full, clearly stating the size, colour, or item required (if applicable)

  • Items must be unused and returned in original packaging with manufacturer labels attached

Orders you want to return must be reported to Toolguy within 3 days of receiving product and must be returned to our warehouse within 14 days of receipt for a refund. Goods must be returned in original packaging and in good condition.


📦 Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused and returned in the same condition as received

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part

  • Delivery times back to us may vary depending on the service used, but typically take up to 7 working days

Once received, all returns are inspected before being processed.


💸 Refunds

  • Refunds are usually processed on the day the return is received and inspected

  • Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account (in some cases, this may take longer depending on your payment provider)

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable
